Volunteer at LAD (current undergraduate/postgraduate anthropology students and recent graduates)
Every year we recruit 15-20 anthropology students to volunteer for the day. The LAD is a great opportunity for students to become involved in outreach educational activities, meet other anthropology students and lecturers and find out more about postgraduate degrees or jobs within different sectors. Please note that to be selected as a volunteer you need to be:
- a current undergraduate/postgraduate anthropology student or a recent graduate of an anthropology degree
- available for Volunteer Training Day: 10.30am – 3.30pm Wednesday 28th June 2017 at the Royal Anthropological Institute, London
- available for London Anthropology Day: 8.00am – 6.00pm Thursday 29th June 2017 at the British Museum, London
As a volunteer you will be an integral part of the event team which prepares items for the event, registers attendees, shares your experience of studying anthropology with prospective students, helps set up displays, stalls and workshop rooms and provides helpful information for attendees. Volunteering at LAD also means you will have the opportunity to sit in on some anthropology workshops given by leading academics.
