London Anthropology Day (LAD) is a FREE annual university taster day for Year 10, 11, 12, 13, FE students, undergraduate or graduate students, careers advisers and teachers, taking place at Senate House, London on the 25th April 2025.
Throughout the day, you can attend live workshops and visit university stalls from 23 UK Anthropology departments. There are five sessions, each offering a choice between a workshop, a careers panel, or time to meet university representatives.
Group Bookings: If you are a teacher looking to book a school group, please email education@therai.org.uk and we will assist you with this.

In each section of the form, select your top three preferences. If your first choice is fully booked, we will assign your next available option. Workshops are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
You must select three options per section before submitting the form. Once submitted, we will manually assign your sessions and send a confirmation email detailing your schedule.
How to Book
- Enter your email address to receive a booking link.
- Check your inbox (including spam) and follow the link to continue.
- Fill in your details (name, age, medical conditions, etc.).
- Select three choices for each session in order of preference. You will be assigned one of these based on availability.
Across all five sessions, please choose to attend:
- Up to three workshops
- At least one ‘Meet the Universities’ session
- At least one ‘Careers Panel’
- If under 18, provide guardian details. They will receive an email about the event. Guardians wishing to attend must book separately.
- Indicate any access requirements.
- Review the Terms and Conditions, tick the consent box, and submit!
- You will receive a confirmation email. Once sessions are assigned, we will email your final timetable.
Important Notes
- Each attendee must book individually.
- If you are a parent, guardian, or teacher booking for a student, you must also book a separate place.
- Only one booking per email address is allowed.

Session Types
- Workshops: Taster lectures or interactive sessions hosted by universities. Choose based on your interests or preferred universities. (Programme link).
- Meet the Universities: A dedicated hour to visit stalls, speak with university representatives, and get firsthand insights into studying anthropology.
- Careers Panels: Hear from professionals about career opportunities with an anthropology degree. Learn how anthropology shaped their careers and explore different career paths.
